Arriving at Ano Pauliani, following a beautiful route through a fir forest, the beautiful rocky peak of Katavothra (1775m.) appears. A point where the gurgling waters disappear under the rock to emerge later in the steep gorge of Gorgopotamos with the waterfalls. From Katavothra the view towards Vardousia and Giona is amazing.
